Why We’re Special

Often people will ask:  “Why would you purchase another pediatric therapy clinic given the frustration and challenges with reimbursement and funding?”  When Rehab Resources Inc. purchased Ozaukee Therapy Services we knew we were transferring a quality centered therapy clinic into our network.  Quality of service being provided has been one of the main focuses of our business since it began in 1993.
 
As therapists working in both non-profit and for-profit settings we lived the frustrations of not having the freedom to make decisions regarding care and services due to the bureaucracy and hierarchy of control within the agency.  When we started a therapist owned agency it was our goal to keep things simple so decisions could be made and implemented more quickly with greater flexibility.  Choosing to stay for-profit has kept the challenge of staying afloat difficult while allowing the therapists to maintain greater control over the quality of care provided. 

In this society where non-profit agencies build bigger and better facilities we continue to find some therapists desire the autonomy and decision making opportunities an organization like Ozaukee Therapy provides.  Our therapists shoulder the burden of highest quality of care in the least number of visits while wearing many of the hats required to exist as a small business.
 
It has been our experience that many of the therapists working for our agencies are leaders in their areas of interest.  These are the types of individuals that are driven to achieve and we understand their greatest opportunity for success is in our staying out of their way while providing the framework for their work to occur. 
 
The families choosing this type of quality service setting are also exceptionally involved in their child’s therapy as well as home carryover and coordination with other services.  We work with families to understand funding options and provide a variety of payment plans while staying focused on cost containment as much as possible. 
We are proud to serve Northern Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties here at Ozaukee Therapy.  It is our hope that the relationship with the community continues to grow through many years of quality centered therapy services.
